Sister NOTD: Carribean Blue

For this mani she used KIKO 295 and added some crushed shells.

Sister NOTD: Stars in a Puddle

Another sister NOTD.
She was wearing this nails when had her driving licence test and she passed it so these are LUCKY NAILS!
It's a bit weird to see her drive since in my eyes she is still my little "child" sister, I hope I will get used to it!

NOTD: Pastel Blue French with Dots

When I made the Dolly Wink nails the most popular were the Pastel Dot ones (my sister totally fell in love with them!).
So I decided to make another version of the mani with blue this time, it's my favourite color.

For the base I used KIKO 228, for the light blue I used ORLY Snowcone and for the darker blue I used Deborah 7 Days Long 829.

Even if I really like this result I think the pink was better, the colors stood out more!!

NOTD: Christmas Comet

This are the nails I had during this Christmas.
I applied a red polish as a base, then I added some silver stripes and glitter. To end the design I added some silver stars.

{in the pictures my hands are wet...!}

As a bonus some pics of my Christmas!

This are only the appetizers!! Yummy!!!

NOTD: Sparkly Silver

After doing my NANA nails I remembered my New Year's Eve nails and I decided to try a little different version.

This mani too can be perfect for New Year's Eve parties!!

I applied basic no° 41 + Deborah Shine TECH no° 22 on my thumbs, on my left middle finger and on my right ring finger. I applied Wet 'n' Wild Dream Black Metallic on all the other nails.

Then on the silver nails I added some multi-colored sequins.

Tutorial #036: Meisa Kuroki - hellcat inspired

In this tutorial I tried to copy the nails Meisa is wearing on the cover of her first album"hellcat".
I'm not very satisfied with the final result but I like the idea so I will try it again in the future.

What you need: a dotting tool, some silver glitter.

Colors:

  • Base Coat: KIKO White strong&shiny No.05
  • Metallic Grey: China Glaze - Awaken
  • Silver: basic No. 449
  • Glitter: Catherine Arley No.128
  • Top Coat: KIKO No.03
How to:
  1. Apply your base coat.
  2. Apply a dark grey polish, better if metallic.
  3. With a dotting tool and a silver polish draw the contours of your nail.
  4. Repeat "step 3" with a silver glitter polish. I added some sparse glitter too. Don't use too much glitter or it will get lumpy. Let it dry prefectly and apply your top coat.

Tutorial #034: Gradient Pink French

Super easy and lovely!!

What you need: some red hearts for decoration.

Colors:

  • Base Coat: KIKO White strong&shiny No.05
  • Milky White: KIKO No.205
  • Pink: Unknown polish (no number, name or brand)
  • Top Coat: KIKO No.03
How to:
  1. Apply your base coat.
  2. Apply a milky white polish, better with some gold shimmer.
  3. Apply a light pink polish (better with gold shimmer) on the tip of your nails. Apply a second coat if needed. If you want you can add some docorations like red hearts.

NOTD: Pink & Orange French {three versions}

Another recent NotD.
I wore this for my mother's birthday last week.
I never tought that orange and pink could match this well but when I tried this I really liked it.
I liked it so much that I made two versions of this mani and also a pedi.
I took inspiration from this nail art I saw in a mag (don't remember which, sorry!).

In the first two pic is the "basic" version. I used KIKO no.280 and Miss Sporty no.140 for the french and topped everything with KIKO no.228, a silver glitter.

Here is the "bling" version with some stars and hexagonal silver glitter.

Here the whole look. For the pedi I just alternated pink and orange.

What do you think? Want to see more matching mani and pedi?

NOTD: Green Spring

After seeing the green spring mani at LACQUERIZED I wanted to try it too!
This is my result!
I used KIKO no.296 as a base and then I applied a coat of KIKO no.163, a fine glitter with turquoise shimmer and at last KIKO no.170, with iridiscent fish scale glitter that flashes between green and purple.

Some old NotD

Shower Together is one of my favourite polish. I would never tell by looking at the bottle but on my nails is just amazing and with a bit of silver sparkle it quickly became one of my favourite NOTD!

♥♥♥♥♥
I don't love pinks but this one is really pretty and it looks good on me!
