Turoail #039: Holly French

First Christmas nail art of the year.

*sorry for the bad lighting*

How to:
  1. Apply your base coat.
  2. Apply a sheer polish with a gold shimmer. If you don't have something similar you can use a nude/beige polish. AVOID pink.
  3. With a red polish paint your tip.
  4. With a gold polish and a thin brush draw a line below the red tip.
  5. I think it's already pretty like this so if you like simple manicure you can stop here.
  6. With a dark green acrilic paint draw the leaves of the holly. If you don't have acrilic paint you can use green nail polish.
  7. Put a drop of top coat between the leaves and apply two or three red sequins to make the berries of the holly. If you don't have sequins you can use red rhinestones or a dot of red polish.
  8. This is optional but you can add some green glitter on the leaves. Apply your top caot and you're done!

Tutorial #017: Day & Night Snowfall

Here a snowy nail art. I made the DAY version first but then I realized that the snowflake didn't pop out so I made the NIGHT version. If you want you can make the snowflakes on all the nails, but that will take some time!

What you need: a thin brush, some beads/pearls.

Colors:

-DAY-

  • Base Coat: Debby nail THERAPY smoothing base + minerals
  • White: KIKO No. 101
  • Glitter: KIKO No. 163
  • Big Glitter: KIKO No. 170
  • Silver: DEBORAH Shine TECH No. 22
  • Top Coat: KIKO Extra strong & hard No.04

-NIGHT-

  • Base Coat: Debby nail THERAPY smoothing base + minerals
  • Blue: KIKO No. 267
  • Big Glitter: KIKO No. 170
  • Silver: DEBORAH Shine TECH No. 22
  • Top Coat: KIKO Extra strong & hard No.04

How to: (these are the steps for the NIGHT version, using the same process you can do the DAY version)
  1. Apply your base coat and then a blue base.
  2. Apply a glitter polish.
  3. With the thin brush and silver polish draw the shape of a snowflake, use a picture as reference and make it the simpliest possible. Then cover the guide lines with the small beads/pearls, be more accurate possible.
