Swatch: OPI No.H45 JADE IS THE NEW BLACK

(above camera flsh - below natural light)

This is from the Hong Kong Collection. It became pretty famous and I really liked it on the swatches I saw online.
In real life I have to admit that it didn't impress me that much. It's definitely a pretty green creme but it didn't catch my eyes that much. Maybe if I wear it for a couple of days I will get to love it more.

NOTD: You're Such A Kabuki Queen Glitter French

I didn't know what to wear on my nails today so I let my mom choose and the winner was OPI You're Such A Kabuki Queen. I wanted to add something to it so I pick up this pink glitter with some green reflex and I applied it on the smile line. The pink glitter don't stand out because it's the same color of the polish but the green reflex really catch the eye, more than in the picture!

Swatch: OPI No.NN R54 RUSSIAN NAVY SUEDE

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This polish is one of the best polish I have.
OPI made a great job with the SUEDE collection.
The finish is really good and it catch a lot of attention! I was at the supermarket with this polish on and a lot of people were watching it!
I read in a lot of blog that this polish chip really fast but for me it wasn't a problem. I wore ir for three days and it didn't chip at all. I also washed my hair, thing that usually kills all my manicure, but Russian Navy Suede resisted well, just minor tipwear.
I applied a basecoat and let it dry very well and didn't have any trouble with the application. On my right thumb I had to redo the nail three times because I didn't let dry enough the base so in the end I didn't apply a basecoat on the thumb and it didn't stain so if you want you can also not apply a basecoat.

Swatch: OPI No.NM A20 LA PAZ-ITIVELY HOT MATTE

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This color is so not me!
I don't like colors that are too bright but I was curious about this matte version that is almost satin finish.
I had a little trouble with the application since I'm not used to matte polish but at the second try it came out pretty good.
I have to say that I like it. Maybe I will not do a whole many but with some decoration it can be really good.

Swatch: OPI No.J01 YOU'RE SUCH A KABUKI QUEEN

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This is a beautiful pink creme. It's less red and less bright than in the picture but it's definitely a bright pink.
I really like it and it's perfect for Valentine's Day.

Swatch: OPI No.F22 BAGUETTE ME NOT

(above camera flash - below natural light)

My camera isn't color accurate at all. In reality this color is less pink and more orange.
It's similar to this "basic" color, it's just a little lighter.

Swatch: OPI No.F14 PARLEZ-VOUS OPI?

(above camera flash - below natural light)

I like this color very much. Is a beautiful muted purple creme. A nice fall color.

Haul: Drugstore and e-tailer

The other day I was shopping with my mum and little sister. I drag them to a drugstore (it's a Swiss drugstore with a strange name that I don't remember). Here they have more common brands like Rimmel, Maybelline, Deborah and Debby but they also have this Basic polishes that I don't find anywhere else. This polishes are really cheap. The small ones are €0.99 and the big ones are €1.99. Super cheap! The only bad thing is that the small ones have more interesting colors but the bottles are so small that after a mani it's almost empty and unfortunately there aren't always two bottles of the same color.
The polishes above aren't colors that I'm usually fond of but these where appealing! I'm swatching them and I will soon post about them!

The day after my mini drugstore haul, the postman brought me this wonderful box full of goodies.
In the picture above there is my first order from TransDesign.com. This site is great because it has a lot of different brands. At other site sites you can easily bought OPI and China Glaze (even if some of this sites ship China Glaze polishes only within US territory) but I didn't find another site with a lot of brands like TransDesign. There are also a lot of nice things for nail art. I will show more in detail what I bought with swatches and reviews in the future!
The thing I didn't like about TransDesign was the shipping fees. They were really expensive, 1/3 of what I paid was for shipping fees. I didn't like it but later I find out that if you order a maximum of 9 bottles of polish you pay only $ 18 because there are prepackaged boxes. Well, next time I will make a smaller order. I was really satisfied with all the other aspects. The box took only 11 days to arrive and was perfectly packed! The polishes where packed at groups of three in cute China Glaze or Orly boxes with a lot of polystyrene in between. It took me half an hour to open the whole box and take out all the goodies. I wanted it to last the longer possible. I was so excited to hold my first ever bottle of OPI and China Glaze!! It was like I was holding the Holy Grail...
I also ordered China Glaze Calypso Blue but was out of stock so it will have to wait another order.
I will update the blog soon with my new polishes!!
