My nail care routine + other products review {bare nails ahead!}

On my youtube channel they requested my nail care routine so here it is.
I'm also going to talk about some products that I wanted to review for a long time.
This is just my personal opinion and experience.

In addiction to these products I also use lemon juice to make my nails stronger and whiter and olive oil to moisturize them. If you haven't already, try these natural tricks they work well.

This are my bare nails at the moment.
I'm quite a lazy person so I don't do these steps everytime, more or less once a week.

★★★★★★★★★★★★★

The first step is to remove all of the old polish. I use a cheap nail polish remover with acetone. I know acetone isn't good for your nails but the ones without acetone are more expensive and it takes an hour to remove the polish from one nail (I don't have a lot of patience!).

★★★★★★★★★★★★★

To remove my cuticles I use Nfu-Oh Cuticle Remover. It's an amazing product that will totally change the look of your nails.
All you have to do is apply the product on your cuticles, let it penetrate a few minutes and then remove the excess with an orange wood stick, then push back the cuticles.
It has a brush like a normal polish so it's really easy to use.

The bottle is 17 ml / 0.6 fl. oz. and it costs $11.50, you can buy it on-line at fabuloustreet.com.

★★★★★★★★★★★★★

My next step is to moisturize my nails and cuticles.
Like I said before I lack patience, so I want a product that penetrate quickly and doesn't leave a lot of residues.

My favourite choice is Kaloderma with vegetal butter, shea butter and avocado oil.
It penetrates quickly, it's non-greasy and it has a wonderful smell. It's also very cheap.

★★★★★★★★★★★★★

I read a lot about Essence SOS nail care balm so I was curious and bought it.
I love the packaging and the smell of this butter.

I didn't use this long enough to see long-term results.
It contains shea butter, almond oil and panthenol and it's supposed to help dry cuticles and brittle nails.

When I tried it on my nails I was a bit disappointed because it takes a while to absorb and leave a bit of residues, It's not greasy tought.
I use this butter when I don't wear nail polish to nourish them and it's perfect for that.

The jar is 7g / 0.24 oz. for around €3 (I don't remeber the exact price).

★★★★★★★★★★★★★

Before wearing nail polish I always apply a base coat, even if the polish is a light color.

I use KIKO strong&shiny no.05 and I am satisfied with it.
It dries quickly and leave the nails very shiny.
The only downside is that it has a strong chemical smell unlike other KIKO polishes.

The bottle is 11ml / 0.37 fl. oz. and it's €4,50.

★★★★★★★★★★★★★

After polishing my nails, when they are perfectly dry, I apply AVON fresh aloe cuticle gel.

This gel is very fresh and has a nice subtle smell but it doesn't do much, that's my impression.
I don't think I'm going to buy it again.

The tube is 15ml and I think is around €5.50 (again, I don't remember the right price, sorry!).

★★★★★★★★★★★★★

Once in a while, for a shock therapy, I use Glysolid hand cream.

It contains a lot of glycerin and its prefect for dry skin and cuticles.
Since this is super-greasy, after apply it I wear cotton gloves.

I use it a lot on my elbows, knees and heels too.

A jar is 200ml, I don't know the price because my mom buy it but it's definitely cheap.

★★★★★★★★★★★★★

This is a product that I use very rarely.

It's a cuticle scrub, in fact it contains small spheres that melt while you massage it on your nails.
I really like the smell but I don't see many difference between using it or not, also since I started using Nfu Oh Cuticle Remover this was totally abandoned.

The bottle is 12ml and the price should be a little below €6.

★★★★★★★★★★★★★

This was my first cuticle remover. I never used one before so I was a bit perplexed when I tried it because I wasn't sure if it was working or not.

There was absolutely no difference before or after using, it was like putting fresh water on my nails.

The bottle is 12ml, I bought it for €4 but it wasn't at full price.

Hope this post was helpful to you and if you have any question you can leave me a comment anytime!!

Swatch: Deborah Sense TECH No. 03

(above camera flash - below natural light)

I'm very pleased with this polish. I didn't like the first Sense TECH I bought, but this one is very good.
It's a matte grayed blue. It's very opaque, almost a one coater, it takes a few minutes to dry, but there aren't any major problems with the formula.

It looks very good with a top coat too.

Swatch: Deborah Shine TECH No. 35

(above camera flash - below natural light)

When I first bought this polish I tought it was a creme. It's actually a shimmer, it has a very subtle light blue shimmer, and it's probably best or it would have looked black without direct lighting. It's very opaque and dries really glossy (pictures are without top coat).

Tiny blue haul

This is what I bought today: Deborah Shine Tech No.35 and Deborah Sense Tech No.03.
I had my eyes on no.35 for a long time. It's a beautiful dark blue creme and if it's like the other shine tech cremes it's extremely glossy!
I didn't like the first Sense Tech polish I bought but I wanted to try this because the color is really appealing, no.03 is a beautiful grayed dark blue.
Swatches coming soon!

To all italian girls:

nei supermercati Esselunga fino al 9 giugno gli smalti Deborah Shine Tech, Deborah 7 Days Long e Rimmel Lycra Pro hanno il 30% di sconto per i possessori carta fidaty. I Sense Tech NON sono in sconto.

Swatch: Deborah Sense TECH No. 04

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This is one of the new matte polish from Deborah.
I'm a bit disappointed with this polish.
It takes more time to dries (about 2 or 3 minutes) so is more easy to apply compared to OPI Matte and Suede but the final result is very dull.
It's a shame because I really liked the color.

Swatch: Deborah 7 Days Long No. 829

(above camera flash - below natural light)

A very beautiful blue creme. In real life is more muted and grey-ish than in the picture.

Swatch: Deborah Shine TECH No. 30

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This is the perfect black creme for me. I rarely wear it alone on my nails but I uset it a lot for nail art. It's opaque in one coat and dries fast and super glossy.

Swatch: Deborah Shine TECH No. 18

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This is one of those polish that in the bottle looks gorgeous but on the nails is boring.
It's a black creme base with silver holographic glitter. The first coat is sheer but it's opaque on the second. On the nail the glitter loose a lot of brilliancy and it dries rough so a top coat is needed.

Swatch: Deborah Shine TECH No. 22

(above camera flash - below natural light)

I really like silver polish and this one is no exception. In the pictures is two coats and there's VNL but I like the result. Good for layering.

New Deborah MAT polish!

Today I went to the supermarket with my mom and I found out that there were new polish from Deborah. I bought two of them (mom paid half of it! thanks mom!!) a mint green and a grayed blue. I will swatch them soon.
There is also a promotion, if you buy two polish they give you a bracelet in three different colors. The bracelet is too big for my arm so I gave it to my cat and she was really grateful!

They launched a new matte polish in 6 different colors at € 7.80.
(Aren't they a little late about matte polish?). Here you can see all the colors.
I bought No.04 in the picture above and below. It's a mint green that's a little more gray in real life.
They also released some new colors from they 7 Days Long collection (€6.50).
The colors are very summer-ish but nothing new or original. I bought No. 829. I always end up buying blue polish, I really love it!

NOTD: Ruffian Nails

Like everyone else I was curious to try the new CND creation... Ruffian Nails.
My result is different from the original but I still like it.

For the gold part I used MAYBELLINE FOREVER STRONG No.810 Chic Gold and for the black I used Deborah Shine Tech No.30.

Then using essie Matte About You Top Coat I mattified the black part only.

I also added some gold flat glitter on my ring finger but I didn't like the result.

Swatch: Deborah 7 Days Long MIRROR GLOW No. 156

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This is a color that doesn't look well on me, so why do I keep on buying it?
The reason is simple. I wanted another MIRROR GLOW polish after I fell in love with the purple one, but since they are a little expensive I buy them only when they're on sale and the only color on sale was this.
This is a shimmer orange with a bit of pink too. The color is nice in the bottle but on me is just boring. Well, luckily my sister loves this kind of polish so someone is going to use it!
I hope I find another color soon maybe one with flakies.

Swatch: Deborah 7 Days Long MIRROR GLOW No. 153

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This polish is really a little jewel in my collection.
It was a gift I got from my mom for passing an exam and it came in a heart shaped box with a lipstick of the same color.
It took me a few months before actually wear it and was love at first sight and you know why...?! It has FLAKIES!!!!! It's my first time with flakies and I didn't even notice them in the bottle.
It's a very deep purple with a magenta reflex and small silver flakies! I can't say how much I love it!
The only small problem is that it isn't very shiny when dry but that's nothing that a top coat can't resolve!
I really hoped that the whole MIRROR GLOW collection was flakies polish but unfortunately I only saw another one with flakies, the others are all shimmer. I have another color from the MIRROR GLOW collection that I'm going to present you in a few minutes.

Swatch: Deborah 7 Days Long No. 765

(above camera flash - below natural light)

I can't put in words how much I love this color. Blue is my favourite color especially in polish.
I think this is my second favourite, the first is COLLISTAR No.44 that I will post later.
I also compared it to COLLISTAR to see the difference. Deborah is a little lighter and is shimmer while COLLISTAR is darker and with very fine glitter. I really love them both but COLLISTAR win because I like the contrast of the dark base with the lighter glitter.

Swatch: Deborah Shine TECH No. 17

This is a light violet color. It’s also a little bit holographic but in the picture it isn’t visible. It takes a long time to dry also because I put a lot since it’s almost transparent.
