Neon Rays

So to start off I apologize for my late responses yesterday, I was without Internet all day, due to the weather here :(

Okay, so I had this idea right after I did my first tape mani in this design. So I finally had the time and just love how it turned out. For this I used China Glaze White on White for the base, China Glaze Four Leaf Clover, China Glaze Yellow Polka Dot Bikini & Color Club She's So Glam, and then Sinful's Black on Black.

This is China Glaze White on White

Then I added Color Club She's So Glam

Then China Glaze Yellow Polka Dot Bikini

and finally China Glaze Four Leaf Clover

Finally I taped it off, you can see the tutorial here.

Neon/Black tip Funky French.....

I love this mani!!It's a little 80's without being overkill. For this I started with 10 color #415 for the base, then did a coat of SV. When that was mostly dry, lol, I taped off my tips, and did a think coat of white on them, then went back and re-taped and did a coat of each neon, then SV. Last off, I taped off most of the neon, and painted my tips black. I just think this is such a fun look!!

The colors I used for the neons were L-R
ChG Sun Worshiper, ChG Towel Boy Toy, CC Edie & ChG Pool Party
My thumb, not pictured was Essie Limelight

My "I'm ready for Paintball" Mani................Patchwork Camo

So my hubby and about 20 people spent this past weekend at our family cabin, to play paintball!! We play about 5-6 times a year. Well I wanted a mani that would hide my butt, lol. Well after a few too many tries, I finally found colors that I liked together. I did this the night before we left. You may notice in some recent manis, following this, I now have a burn going down my ring finger, %^$#@!$*&#!, well I didn't get hurt playing, but I did have to much to drink, and so did everyone else. Well, we decided that cooking hot dogs over the fire was a great idea......but it wasn't. I burned my finger on one of those pokey cooker thingys! What was my hubby's 1st response........................"How can you even stand to take pictures now?" meaning for you guys! GRRRRR

Anyways, I used Sinful Black on Black, Essie Sew Psyched & CC High Society, then topped it off with China Glaze, Matte Magic. Of course using Scotch Tape for the design :)

Here is a pic, of my hubby and I, a few trips ago. I don't have the new pics ready yet. Oh, and yep...my gun is pink! WOOP WOOP!

Navy & Gold....An Amazing Couple

A while ago on a trip to Claire's I spotted this Navy Matte polish, and grabbed it. It sat in my drawer for a few months, till recently. I love my mattes. You can just do so much with one polish, and playing with different finishes is so much fun.

Here it is as her natural self

Not my most favorite matte polish to apply, but not bad either. That was 2 coats

Now here she is with a coat of SV

It's amazing how much she changes!! So smooth, and reflective!

Then I tried her matte with gold tips, just because I love those colors together. For the tips I used Color Clubs Enchanted from the 2010 Holiday mini set.

and of course, slapped on a coat of SV, and TA DA, a beautiful, chic mani, well....to me : P

Color Club Snowflakes...

So I know I posted about this before, when I got it in the Holiday mini set, but I just had to bring it out and use it again. I'm in love with this little thing. Color Club NEEDS o get this in full size! It just is so delicate looking, and looks like it's teeny tiny flakies, with such great sparkle!

I just had to try it over black, and once again, she amazes me!!

Color Club High Society is Covered in Diamonds.....

This is Color Club's High Society. It's such a great go to color, when you can't think of what to do. The application was great, just like other Color Clubs. I am really into shroom/browns & taupes right now, so this is perfect!

I felt it could use some spicing up though, so I just threw on CC Covered in Diamonds. I actually like this combo much more than I thought I would!!

I love all the colors that you can see from the flakies in this polish!!

My Vegas Showgirl Mani

This is the mani design I chose today. As much as I like it, it feels very Vegas to me, lol. The gold is Color Club's Enchanted Holiday, from this years mini set. The black is my HG, Sinful's Black on Black. I used scotch tape for the diagonal design. If you're interested in doing this, I posted about it a little while ago, and gave step by step instructions.

2010 Color Club Holiday Collection - Enchated Holiday

Now here is the 2010 holiday collection minis from Color Club -
Enchanted Holiday
Almost all of these are very dupable, but still very pretty.

First is Enchanted Holiday, a very sparkly glittery gold, can't go wrong with these.

Magic Elf
This is my favorite from this collection, and probably my new fave green. This is a bright metallic/foil green with teeny gold shimmer in it.

Snowflakes
It looks like itty bitty flakies, and does resemble snow a lot! So pretty, but this would look best layered, here it was 3 coats

Finally we have
Wish List Red
A very glittery, sparkly red. There are quit a few of these out there, but still very pretty and perfect for the holidays. fyi my camera did not like photographing this color :( Much better IRL
